The Vegas M.O.B.

Introduces

Group and individual baton twirling lessons

Weekly practices beginning in June for ages 7 and up

(location to be announced-we are currently seeking a facility in the Henderson/Southern

Las Vegas area to conduct weekly instruction with possible other locations to follow)

Members will be required to purchase their own professional quality baton for $20 and a black dance leotard and footwear for parade performances.  Fund raisers will be held to help keep costs down for performance, travel and competitive uniform expenses.

Age Groups:                                                        

Juvenile:                ages 7-9                                 Practice ½ hour per week

Pre-teen:                ages 10-12                             Practice 1 hour per week

Jr/Sr.:                   ages 13+*                             Practice 1 ½ hours per week

                                                                                *(includes assisting with younger age groups)

Practices to be paid monthly or quarterly.  Private lessons also available.  Tiny tot (ages 6 and under) added in the future. 

*Junior/Senior members, ages 13+, will also qualify for additional performance experiences with other branches of the LVMA including possible appearances in the San Diego Holiday Bowl, Winter Olympics, and  more.

All members will have the opportunity to attend the annual

 National Baton Twirling Association National-World Championships

 (America’s Youth on Parade)

at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana
